Three-axis mechanical gimbal
The DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Quadcopter features a three-axis mechanical gimbal, which stabilizes the camera. The gimbal is mounted on the drone and controls its pitch, roll, yaw and vertical stabilization. It’s controlled by the DJI Pilot app for smartphones or tablets through an integrated Wi-Fi connection.
The camera can be attached to the gimbal using three metal rods that can be extended from either side of your device (or stuck together).
